Did the 14 hour crop!!! It was a fun time. I made a few layouts and did a Christmas card kit from the store. Deb, Judy and I did a little shopping and ate at Lancer’s Grille for dinner. Breakfast and lunch were served…along with a ton (seriously, a ton) of sweets and snacks at the crop…it was a really good deal.

I am up and at ‘em!  However, I still need to shower and make the dogs pretty for the photo shoot today! I will let you know how it goes!

The first layout [Introducing...] is for the Scrapaganza Monthly Challenge and the second [Content...for now]was just for fun!

[Introducing...] The challenge was to base your layout off of an ad, so I chose this digital photography ad and used a 4×12 picture from Las Vegas of the Paris restaurant. Products used: Bazzill, Cat Eye inks, American Crafts, Colorbok, Zig writer, and Making Memories.

[Content...for now] I decided to scrap using some older pattern paper from Reminisce, but my favorite: Stripestock – Elizabeth.  I also used Bazzill, Making Memories, EK Success, and Zig writers. In the layout you see Natalia relaxing on James’s belly. She sat there for about an hour. Just looking around and being content.

As I was eating breakfast this morning I got a text from Deb saying, "congrats" – at first I thought it was a message via Twitterand she was congratulating a random person, like maybe her husband Jason for beating someone at a Wii game…it wasn't.

It's 6:30AM…what could I have done that would deserve a "congrats"?

Anyone who was at the wedding would know that I used this color of bazzill because it is the same color of roses and the middle of the stargazers in my bouquet!

layout #1 is complete!!  I’m in love with the kit I got. I used this part of the kit first because it was my least favorite, but I love the kit overall and got a lot of goodies for my money!!

Not the normal color scheme I would go with, so I jazzed it up a bit with some October Afternoon (love that yummy green apple color!), some of the new Thickers (again, yummy!), Stampendous jewel stickers, and a unicorn brad that says, ‘magic’ – can’t remember the company (whoever made that crappy label maker that I hated!!). It will come to be because I can see the packaging in my head…I think around the block??

This layout is based on when I went to Des Moines to see Janet Evanovich do a Q&A during her book tour for 12 Sharp. She was hillarious…I’m sure you could find the posts on my blog – it was in the summer of 2006, I think. Jen and I waited in line for hours and hours…we got sun burned and ordered pizza and had it delivered to the stairs we were sitting on!! We got awesome seats and had a blast!!

FYI to Deb – the new watermelon thickers are made to match this line’s colors…something to think (or vent) about…
