Heat oven to 325 degrees.
Ingredients*:
- 1 Deep Dish pie crust (found in freezer section by fruit)
- 1/4 teaspoon of dry Mustard spice
- 1 cup of Whipping cream (you can substitute skim, 1%, 2% or soy milk)
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups of cheese (you can use any kind and you can use a lot less than 2 cups)
- Veggies and/or meat (cooked!!)
Beat eggs, mustard, cream (or milk), and veggies together in a bowl.
Line 1 cup of cheese in bottom of pie crust. Top with meat. Add rest of cheese.
Add egg mixture to top of pie.
Bake for 50 – 60 minutes or until pie comes out clean in the middle.
*The cheese, meat and veggies are just guidelines. You can add subtract amounts as you wish and can use any combination…all you need to do is to make sure that it can fit in the pie crust before baking it.
Combos:
- Ham, broccoli and colby jack
- Ham and swiss
- Spinach and feta
- Red pepper, mushroom, broccoli and provolone (see pic below)
- Pork, red pepper, mushroom and colby jack
- Hamburger (with taco spice), red pepper and mexican cheese
